PROGRAM WELCOME TO THE MOSELLE

The Moselle Department Council is inviting you to an international Franco-German conference that is unique to France, Germany and Europe, and is devoted to the specific, exclusive themes of industry, the sustainable vehicle for economic development, and regions at European and local level :

"Industrial Dynamics and Regional Competitiveness"

The 3rd annual conference will be held on 18 and 19 November 2009, in Metz (Moselle).

2009 themes
- The post-crisis period; what is in store for us,
- Refurbishment of the Franco-German engine,
- India, a new economic partner,
- New regional performance,
- Regions and energy-sector economic efficiency,
- Regions and new transport infrastructures.

The Franco-German international conferences, devoted to "Industrial Dynamics and Regional Competitiveness", emphasise the best arguments, testimonies, proposals and comparisons of experience for a reworked symbiosis of industry and regions, debated by thirty or so high-level speakers (and in particular French and German ones) from the corporate sector, economic think-tanks, institutions, and the media.

Why the Moselle and why these thematic choices ?

The Moselle is :
- An industrial region,
- A major Department for hosting foreign corporates,
- The regional pivot for Franco-German relations,
- Strongly committed to a partnership with India (it will hold the 1st European-level business convention on transportation systems called EITS 09)
